“But time is a scarce resource…”



I can still remember moments from school when I started in 1980.  My first teacher was Mrs. Stock, and I still keep in touch with her to this day (thanks Facebook!).  There was no one better to invoke a love for school than her.

How available are you?



Being connected means I am always available on something. I’m checking twitter, or my email, or instagram all of the time. There is facebook messenger, there is snapchat. My staff has my cell number and I check my email regularly (gulp.) I’ve never thought of that as a bad thing.

School Work needs to be meaningful research shows



A new survey released from ADP looks at what millennials (age 18-35) and right behind them “Generation Z” (for lack of a better name at the moment), want from their job and employers. Quartz had a nice write up of the research and I was drawn to this both in the report and in the write up.
